Tax payment and licensing app, in use in Kaduna State

Spectrum simplifies tax payment across sectors, from hoteliers to small operators. I designed the wallet, the deposit and withdrawal flows, and the licensing journey, the part of the product that turns a compliance chore into a few taps.

The problem

Tax and licensing products are usually built around the agency's process rather than the payer's. The result is abandonment: people start, get lost, and go back to paying in person.

The approach

The home screen leads with total balance and the two actions that matter, then uses a short action list to move a new user through the steps that unblock everything else, first deposit, KYC, licence. Progress is stated in plain language rather than percentages.
